I have a 1968 Roadster with the driver side door sill missing. I have found a new one but am not sure of the proper installation procedure and have recrived differing opinions re same. Questions are:
-Do you first mount the 7 retaining clips on the sill then snap the chrome in place?
-Which side of the clips go up? Flat side or side with bent corners?
Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

William,
If the vinyl has the proper foam backing and it is neatly wrapped under the sill edge you may not need the clips. I've installed mine without clips and they have stayed in place for several years without coming off. Otherwise experiment with the clips to see which way they should go.

Just to clarify my initial message-I am not missing the door sill itself. I am looking to find the correct procedure for installation of the new piece of chrome.
