As has been said the condition sets the price BUT and reasonable V12E convertible is worth this price, a really good one much much more! Jaguar affectionado and etc.

When you say "$10K too high" I assume you mean the Buy-it-now price. Well, that's relative. It all depends on the condition of the car, documentation to support the mileage, service records, restoration history, checking the engine and components, verification of no rust and proper body repairs, etc. If you are really interested and willing to spend that kind of money, pay for a PPI from a reputable mechanic, or if you're an expert, get over there and inspect it yourself.

Ultimately, any car is worth what someone will pay for it. It seems that E-type prices are climbing again, and roadsters always command a premium. A really nice roadster, even with an automatic, can start to get up there in price. For most driver enthusiasts, the manual is preferable, but the automatic should not make it worth $10K less than one with a manual, IMHO. Just my $.02
