Series 3 E-type V-12
I changed the water pump, replace all 5 belts and about 7hoses of various shapes and sizes, new hose clamps, and NO MORE
LEAKING so far,,,system was pressure tested before the changes were made and the hoses were not leaking, so it must been
the pump.

Mystery collant leak solved
That would make sense since the pump seal sometimes does not leak until the pump is moving.
1974 E-Type
1996 Vanden Plas
1973 Corvette (454)
Or the seal,o-ring,expands under pressure and heat and works just fine until you shut down the engine and then the seal contracts and starts leaking
there are 2 small drain holes on the pump body that you can only see after the bloody thing has been extracted and is in you hand
I couldn't see the holes with a long handled mirror so I didn't know that they were there those hole must be there for drainage I guess ,,,
