I removed the windshied from my 2+2 and bought a new seal from Welsh. I ordered an installation tool from Snap-on and I've read the installation directions several times. I'm assuming I can use a caulking gun in place of the recommended pressure but does anyone have any idea of the best sealing compound to use?

An excellent sealant for the installation of your windshield would be a Sealglaze II which can be purchased in 10oz.caulking type tubes.
