Can anyone tell me what kind of black paint the following parts are under the bonnet? Gloss, matte, wrinkle? 1)Heater box, 2)Right & left vent box, 3)Header tank on top of radiator, 4)Radiator cowling, 5)Radiator fan motors. Thanks, 1974 xke, ots.

If you can get a copy of the book "Jaguar V12 E-Type: A guide to authenticity by Richard Russ" published 1991, I think.
I believe this to be correct
1) gloss black
2) ??? gloss black
3) gloss black
4) black wrinkle
5) dark gray hammer tone (actual motor housing)
the support arms are gloss black
This should be in the New V12 Judging Manual due out in 2007
