Re.: XJS Junior
Ridiculous, yes. But, I saw about a year ago in an FAO Scwartz catalogue a similar thing; a Hummer Jr. It sells for about $25K. You can get the funtional camper trailer with working kitchen that sleeps two for an additional $15K.
If you own either, it's God's way of saying you make too d--n much money.

Re.: XJS Junior
I beleive I read somewhere that they sold for around $10K.
I bet if you can find one today in good shape, it would go for more than most 1:1 scale XJ-S's. Cheaper to buy your kid a real one. That's what I did. My son is too young to drive but old enough to turn a wrench and we have a black 89 XJS is decent shape that we got for $1200. It's his when the time comes.

Re.: XJS Junior
So, now I believe - but I never received one of those under the christmas tree when I believed in Santa.
It's an OEM Jaguar and could drive under its own power into the Concours judging area: how cute to have a kid enter a concours with his very own Jag - would a judge say "no" to that?
Anyway, this thing is too cool - it deserves an article in a magazine.
Someone must know what it's FMV. It would be ironic if it the value approached the real thing!

Dan,
The following: http://www.jag-lovers.org/brochures/xjs_junior.html
is a link to an actual brochure for:
XJ-S Junior
1989
UK
XJ-S Junior
8.5 x 11 inch folder 4pp
Brochure for your kid's XJ-S! The actual cars are rare now and in demand...
It would be a shame not to believe - it looks pretty darn neat although I don't think I want to know what it would have (or would now) cost.

Children are NOT allowed to have toys more expensive than my own. I guess I will settle for a bochure.
