68 E-Type 2+2 I have purched Dayton 6" wire wheels & was advised to fit 205/65-15 tires. I was told to cut off rear bump stops but wondered if anyone has done this & how does it work? This may be the longest restoration on record (20 yrs) but there is light at end of the tunnel.I love to see these cars on the road so this will be a driver. Will there be other problems?

Do not cut them off. If you remove the 2 locknuts on the top ypu can simply remove them. As far as other problems you will scrub the tires front and back now and then if you drive the car as hard as intended but no big problem. George Camp
