I have a 1967 Series 1 XKE OTS built on the 14th February 1967. It is an extremely good looking car having been restored fairly recently.
I am trying to install missing decals and instruction plates but am unsure as to the location at which they should be installed. The suppliers (XK's Unlimited Inc) are unable to help.
Can someone please help me with the exact location for the following.
(1) The tilt seat plate/plates which states "Tilt seats before lowering or raising top"
(2) The "Made in England" plate.
(3) The Seat Belt Anchorage Compliance plate.
(4) The round, jaguar face, "Break-in" Decal which sticks somewhere on the inside of the windshield.
I would appreciate some definitive help as I don't want to install them in the wrong place.
Many thanks. Ted.

Edwin, The position of the plates seemed to move around to the extent that I doubt if the holes were predrilled.
1 On the verticle part of the header to the right of the center toggle clamp. Unless you're recovered the header you should be able to locate where it was.
2 These moved around somewhat but from the hole spacing in the tag you should be able to locate where it was.
3 Same as 2. Look around the fuel filter area, it could be mounted verticle or horizontal.
4 Lower left hand corner of the windshield.
I have a friend who has a totally original, one owner April 1967 production who I will try to contact and see exactly where his tags are located.
