I own a 1970 series II roadster manufactured in 1969 that has disc wheels.
Is it possible that these are original equipment? How do I find out?
Thanks for any information.

William,
I don't know what you mean by "the info provided". The certificates are "Production Record Trace Certificates" that give build details. Date of manufacture, chassis number, engine number, body number, gearbox number, original colors, original distributor, sometimes the original dealer, and for cars sold in the UK, they will often include the first owner and the registration mark.

I was going to get a certificate for one of my cars but it seems like they only confirm the info provided. Is that the case or do they provide previous owner history etc? Jaguar affectionado and etc.

Andy,
You might want to get the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate for your car. Go to the "Library" page, scroll down and on the right side click on "Heritage Certificates".

Bolt on steel wheels were an option.
Fair enough, the numbers are indeed on the car, as long as you know that the engine, gearbox etc are all original to the car and not replacements. No source that I know of for the info you want.
