Need confirmation on the correct amount of FT-LB for spark plugs on my 67 XKE. Believe the correct amount to be 18-21 using Champion N5C.
Thanks,
Adrian

Spark Plug Torque
Your plug selection should be UN11Y or UN12y. N3 or N5 are racing applications. I can not find the torque figures but 25 ft. lbs is what my 30+ years remembers. I think this was a figure Champion recomended to ensure sealing. George Camp
Both correct. New plugs, 20 ft lbs. Once used, 25. (Or if you replace the washers, 20.)
