68 E-Type 2+2 I have fitted 15x6" Dayton wires with 205/65 tires.Wheel center to ground is 1" lower than original 185vr 15.The Jag manual says the measurement should be 9" from the center line of the inner fulcrum of each lower wishbone assembly to ground. should I adjust it to 8" for correct steering geometry? Also, does anyone know of a common water pump bypass hose to fit 7/8" nipple on the pump to 1.25" on the intake? Auto parts stores don't seem to be able to help.

Hey Paul:
I'm interested to hear how the 15x6's are working. I too have a 68 2+2 and it's in for full restoration - paint/interior currently under works - wheels and tires are the next order item and I've considered going to the 6" wheels but would love some feedback prior to actually ordering them.
Thanks
David

Jaguar said 9" MINIMUM it could be more, the answer is to set the height first and then adjust the camber if necessary. I believe the correct hose is available, try part No, C24578 Jaguar affectionado and etc.
Mick, There are probably hundreds of us running 15x6 Dayton wire wheels with no problems. Is your friend trying to run some really big tires?
