Can anyone tell me what color was lucas name on the side of the battery and top caps that say Lucas. Was it red or white??????? I have a 1971 series 2 and bought a New Lucas battery, but its all black. Thanks, Dom

Dominic the correct battery for your series 2 "E" had a black case (slick and shiny. It had a gold lucas sticker on the face side and the top was a one part lift off filler of red plastic and read Lucas in raised letters. I have one NOS that if needed I might take a picture of. George Camp
