If I have the VIN number, is there a way I can obtain service history/records for a 1990 XJS from any Jaguar dealer and/or a specific dealer? How would I do this?

Jaguar dealers can access records of *warranty* repairs, as that information is kept by Jaguar itself.
As far as I know there is no common/shared data base used by dealers which contains records of non-warranty services and repairs.
If you know which dealer has done the servicing you can ask them for the records. Some will give you the info, some won't. If the car hasn't been into the dealer for some time (3 years is a common timeframe) the records are may have been purged.
