I have a series 11 with twin stromburgs, Is it as easy to buy the 3 webbers and propper manifold and have a shop put them on, Or is there some other things i need to change, Thankyou Mick

It depends on what type of manifold you install. Most Webber set ups are for raceing applications. Be sure you get a manifold with hot water to the carbs and that it has provisions for a thermostat, including the by-pass port (so some water can by-pass the thermostat). If you have power brakes, you will also need to find a way to get vacuum from your intake without starving a cylinder. Nothing is as easy as it seems. If possible, your best bet is to get a set of tripple SUs from an early E-Type and have them rebuilt. The power difference is negligible, even if they don't look as cool. Webbers are also hard to get jetted correctly for your proper 15:1 mix. Most run 'way too rich and hot. If your shop doesn't have lots of Webber experience and spare parts, forget it.
