does anyone have any experience in re-finishing their trunk emblems to restore the original " plastic " chrome finish on the xjs and jaguar plastic pieces? I guess mine have just been worn off from washing or buffing; or, can new ones be bought somewhere? haven't seen any good ones on Ebay; and haven't checked the dealer for obvious expense reasons; hopefully someone has figured a way to do a decent looking restoration of the originals? thanks!

There are chrome plating places around now and have been for a long time that can redo the chrome on plastic pieces such as these,

I got my replacements at Coventry West, from Peter Bond, a good man. I don't think you could restore the originals. Pete Forte

I just purchased a set of new ones from Engel Imports, though I suspect the usual suspects all carry them.
