I need a car cover for my '88 XJ-SC. Anyone have experience with a good quality cover that will provide indoor/outdoor protection in a very wet climate (PacNW). A reliable source would be appreciated as well.

I just ordered a Cover Craft Weathershield Friday for my XJSC from Car Cover World. I should have it onhand within a week, or so and will post a review once I'm able to use it. Got to have something on the car here in the great NW. I can't keep her garaged all the time due to other projects. Hopefully the cover will live up to my expectations. I also travel to California frequently so it will be nice having something to keep the sun off of her when I'm there in the summer months.

Steve, I looked at a car cover for my 93 Mustang GT from Advance Auto Parts. It was a special order cover, custom fit for the car, water proof. I think the cost was around $220.

In the end I never did get a cover for her (other things to do with the money), but it was the best thing I found I could get around here. The info in the order book made it out to be a very good cover. Don't know if they make one for the Jag or not.

I tried the best cover Wal-Mart had for my 66 Galaxie 500, it was pure trash. I can't find one thing good to say about that cover.

If you get one and use it let us know how it does. I'd still like to get the one for the Stang. It was two tone red and black, I wanted to have the Mustang logo stitched into the cover at the nose of the car. Thought that would look sooo cool.
