Can anyone tell me why the right side pump list for over $600 and the left side is around $130 I searched and found aftermarket pumps between $60-$200 but there is nothing stating left or right. Does it matter can I just replace both pumps with the same aftermarket pump?

Thanks for the input but I got lucky I determined that the pumpd are not bad but I have a bad supply to the main pump I switch the connectors and the car runs great Now I did buy the subscription from aldata only 29.95 for 1 year which provides all the wiring diagrams etc same program that most mom and pop shops use

If the prices you have been quoted are from a Jaguar dealership. The spares pricing policy that Jaguar has recently adopted could explain it. Items are no longer priced by them on cost but by demand. The least purchased the more the cost. For example the side body pin striping for a series III used to be priced at around $19 per section. Because most people don't go for the genuine article anymore and instead have body shops apply their cheap and nasty versions. (You can tell the difference real easy at concours events when looking at how the body shops finish the ends of it). Jaguar now has these priced at around $98 per section.

With this in mind, I would therefore assume in your case that possibly Jaguar replaces more of the left side fuel pumps than the right ones.
