Hi
I just imported my Jaguar and now I need to know where the best place to get the provincial government inspection for licensing would be. I took it to Canadian Tire and they did the Federal but not the provincial. I just feel that they know nothing about Jaguars and want to take it somewhere else. Can you direct me to somewhere in Vancouver or Burnaby?
By the way, I LOVE MY JAG!

Provincial Government Inspection
Don, there are dozens of shops that are registered with ICBC to do the Provincial inspection. You can get a list from any Autoplan agent. I'm wondering why you didn't just get Canadian Tire to do it at the same time as the Federal inspection... it would have cost much less than dealing with two different shops, and what difference does it make if they don't know Jaguars - the Provincial inspection is just to make sure the car is reoadworthy, that the lights & brakes works, that sort of thing.
Doug, thanks for your reply. When I took it to Canadian Tire I expected them to do both inspections but they didn't. I guess I can take it back there but I also wanted to develop a connection to a Jaguar repair shop in Vancouver so thought I would do it that way. I need to get the oil changed and asked Canadian tire to do that as well and they couldn't. I found Sovereign Motors on the internet. I think I might try them. Don McMillan
