Can someone advise me where the manual overdrive switch (with its on/off positions) should be in a XK150-S.
Should this man O/D switch be on the dash or should it be a 2nd shifter on the floor?

Man O/D
depends on whether the electric overdrive or later mechanical. My OTS (non S) has the elec and it is a switch on dash to left of steering wheel and left of small cubby hole.
I am not 100% sure but the "S" being later I believe had the mechanical o/d and the knob was mounted on the tranny tunnel in front of the gear shift xkmeister

That's the answer I expected as I now have a bochure regarding the xk-150 release.
I understand that most had O/D either electric (dash mounted) or manual O/D on floor. The car in questions has an on/off man o/d on the floor between dash and shifter.
This is new vehicle for me and wont be seen for a long time due to its poor condition.
