Does anyone have a suggestion for an aftermarket radio/speaker replacement to fit in the original location. My car has the factory air vents.
I believe I could fit a JVC KD-NX5000 DVD/CD receiver with GPS, using 6" speakers with a collar extension of 1/2" if the vechicle had a speed sensor wire, ( which it does not have ).
Looking for any suggestions. Thanks.

I have the same problem for my S2 na dincidentally 69 corvettes are hard to fit radio to. I hate to cut into the orginal tunnel dash. I created a new one by bending sheet metal and covering with black vinal, looks pretty good. The new one is sized to the radio/cd player whole and the speakers are any size. Because the speakers are in the footwell I bought a set that has a seperate tweater. I ran the wires undert the dash and chrome trim and set the tweaters at each corner of the dash/windshield. Would be interested to know if there is such a radio.
