A friend who is restoring a series 2 sent me an e-mail asking where the relays are located on a series 2. Not being a series 2 owner, I looked at the judging guide. There is a photo (on page 9 I think) of a relay mounted on a bracket next to the right-side fan. Is this the fan relay or something else?

On page 17 or so, is another photo showing the location of a couple more relays, one being the alternator. Is the horn relay mounted here?

Patrick if it is an AC car there are 3 relays on the inner splash guard by the battery horn/ac/alt and a further 2 on the front frame otter and ac/otter over ride. If it is a later ex/em car there is a starter relay on the rh firewall above the fuel bowl! Hope this helps! Also if it has a factory antenna there is a relay by the motor in the rh boot (by fuel pump)!
