I need to change my timing tensioners. do I need to remove the heads? I'm planning on changing the water pump, timing chain, seal while I'm in there. is there anything else I need to do? any tips, suggestions etc on doing the job? any manuals that explain how to do the job?

I'm replacing the tensioners because It started to make a noise and I took it to a jaguar mechanic who said that is what it needed.

It is a lot of work and you may find that you have to go deeper, why are you replaceing the tensioners?
get at least one more diagnosis!
