I am just finishing up a restoration on my 67 OTS and have a couple of questions.

1) The ignition lamp will not go out.
a) Switched 3AW; no change. Also tried Cool Cat solid state with same results
b) Tested alternator to confirm charging and swapped with a spare just to double check.
c) Checked and replaced 6RA.
c) Confirmed that all wiring is correct.

2) Ammeter appeared to show a discharge state but would not fluctuate when lights or other ancillaries were powered on or off. Tapping the meter moved the needle but it still does not move when items are powered on or off. Any thoughts on repairing?

Thanks!

Is 6ra the regulator? If not check the regulator . Second make sure the light wire wasn't switched with the low fuel light. Its happened before. Do you have gas in the car?
