I have a 1962 e type roadster and the emergency brake is pretty much useless. I have adjusted the cable as far as it will go to no avail and plan on buying a new set of pads but need to order the correct type.
Does anyone know if I need the early type pads or the later ones? My build date is July 9, 1962 if that helps.

According to XK's unlimited the body number cut off is #877534 which makes mine the later type by about 100 cars.
