About 4 months ago, I was given a 77 XJ6L. As it turns out, the floors are so rotted that currently, the only thing keeping the car together are the seat supports. It needs everything from the toe boards all the way through the rear radius arm mounts. Inner/outer sills, jacking points, both floor boards, the pan up under the rear seats, the boot floor, etc.

OK, so that isn't the real pile I was speaking of.
I started parting out the 77 and wouldn't ya know, in selling one part and having a few hundred dollars in my pocket, I stumble across an 88 XJ40 VDP, on the lawn of one of my Dad's neighbors. A quick jingle gets the owner on the phone and minutes later I'm discussing cost with the man.
I buy it for the couple hundred in my pocket.
Beautiful interior, NO rot. Runs and drive wonderfully (just needs some minor Power Hydraulic System attention)There is some very minor rust that had been repaired once, the paint will need some freshening. You can eat off the engine bay.

OK, my pictures must be too large and my host page doesn't seem to want to allow them to print up here.

Here is the link for the album where they are located:
