The seal on my coupe needs replacing. XK's indicates that this requires eleven feet of material as PN BD23347. I assume that this is one continuous length although all the diagrams I've seen indicate that it is divided into two lengths with the break occuring at about half way up each side.
The existing seal is in two pieces with the break being at the top and bottom center. That may, or may not, be original. Does anyone know of a reason that it should be in two pieces and, if so, why does the break occur on the sides?
My second question has to do with what appears to be a hard rubber seal / trim that surrounds the inside of the rear hatch opening. I don't see it listed at XK's and wonder if anyone knows a source and PN for that?
Thanks---Tom
