I have a pair of XK150 Dunlop front disc brakes currently installed on my 1953 XK120 (from an earlier restoration). I want to restore my car back to original XK120 drum brakes so I can "show" the car.
Does anyone have an idea where I can get a set of original XK120 front drum brakes, brake shoes and brake shoes that will fit my 1953 roadster? Anyone interested in a swap?
Parts include a pair of original XK150 front rotors, Dunlop calipers, new brake pads and all the hardware needed for an easy afternoon installation.

XK120 / XK140 Front Disc Brakes for 16
I am quoting from the Judges' Guide:
4. Items Excluded From Judging
a) Front and rear suspension components
b) Brake drums, discs, and calipers
c) The underside of the vehicle.
That's on page 2 of this:

So, your discs work, cannot be judged, why change?
Who knows, maybe they have something else about non-original, but since it says they cannot judge brakes, hmmm....
