In my 88 XJ6 the head liner is falling down. I looked at some prior posta and saw some places to buy the foam backed fabric. My question is...Has anyone here redone their headliner? and if so, Does it look good? or do you suggest getting it proffesionally done because you had problems?

There is a forum that I am a member of, swedishbricks.net (I also own a 700 series Volvo).
They have step by step instructions on how to do it yourself and get a professional finish. Also included are links to sources for the material itself.
When you get to the main site click on "Contents" then "700 Series FAQ's" then "Interior", you will see on the list "Replacing Headliner".
The procedures will be the same regardless of what kind of car it is.

The headliner attached to the sunroof has become detached as I assume the adhesive failed. Only is a problem when the sunroof is open. Anyone else dealt with this issue?
