E type owners
The VJC will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the E Type as part of the JCNA AGM held in late March 2011 in Richmond, VA. We would like to contact owners of significant E Types regarding possible participation. Examples of significant cars would be the oldest/most original S1, S2, S3 E types in the US, show cars, cars associated with Jaguar personalities/celebrities, E types with racing history etc.
Please contact me at the e-address above or at 804-748-4601.

E Type anniversary 2011
The JCNA celebration of the 50th anniversary of the E Type is being coordinated by Bryan Williams, North Central regional director, and me, Candy Williams, JCNA publicity chair.
We have plans to produce a commemorative car badge and pin and make them available to JCNA members. I am creating a press kit that can be used in affiliate clubs' events to help them publicize their celebrations of this milestone.
Organizers of the 2011 Challenge Championship in Columbus, Ohio, also are planning their event in to mark the anniversary celebration. George Keller and Jim Baker of Jaguar Association of Central Ohio are chairing this event.
More information about JCNA's celebration will be made available at the 2010 AGM in Indianapolis March 26-27. If your club is planning special activities in conjunction with this anniversary, please contact me at allwrite2aol.com for possible inclusion of your event in the Jaguar Journal.

E Type anniversary 2011
What about us owners of 'insignificant' E-Types? Will we be allowed?
Sort of kidding.

E Type anniversary 2011
What email address (nothing "above")?
Where can we find more info about this event, or is it just in planning stages?
Anyone know of any other events to be held next year? Are Pebble Beach and the other big concours events going to do anything special?

E Type anniversary 2011
David, it is worth mentioning that this is going to be an International event and so there should be some coordination through JCNA in order to satisfy everyone.
Jaguar and Alfa are the two featured/honored marques for the 2010 Pebble Beach Councours this coming August 2010. don't know anything about 2011 at Pebble Beach.
