I have seen a set of cup holders in the center consule between the seats. They took the place of the ash trays. I don't smoke, but I like my coffee in a safe place.

Does anybody know where I can get such an accessory?

I looked in the accessories from Jaguar for 1995 and 1996 and there were different armrest offered but not for the XJS--the ash trays were in the ski slope so possibly you saw a custom job. The only alternate for the XJS armrest was a special one to hold a phone. Best of luck.
