I have owned three XK Jaguars, and have seen painted heads on
some high performance engines. I have also seen painted heads
on several E-Types, silver, gold, etc. I am currently restoring
a 1971 E-Type, OTC, 6 cylinder with plain aluminum head. What is
the correct color if other than original aluminum, unpolished?
I bet Dick Maury knows.

Frank, thanks a lot. I did not realize there were so many color combinations. So, my
head is correct with standard unpolished aluminum.
