Hello all,
Looking for some guidance to determine title history (back to 1962) for a MKX that I inherited from my father. There is old family lore that the vehicle once belonged to Roy Rogers, but have not found any paperwork to confirm. Have already checked with the Jag North American Archives, but not sure if there is another source I should be checking? Chassis # is 350543BW - Any info. or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!

I did get in touch with someone of the Roy Rogers Trust and he did a search. Unfortunately looks like he owned a Jag, but not the one I have. So I guess now I know! Eventually I will be looking to sell this vehicle - any idea of it's value? The body and interior are in good shape - just a little dusty. Have not checked under the hood yet, but suspect that it's in pretty good shape as well. I do have some pics of it - although not a lot of good ones as it's currently stored in a place without a lot of light. Again, it's a 1962 3.8L MKX, 4 door Saloon, Opalescent Maroon in color with Beige interior. Chassis #350543BW.

Thoughts?

Michelle have you checked with the Roger's estate? There is at least one museum dedicated to the star. Perhaps seeking through the star rather than car chanels might be best--having said that if he did purchase a MK X it would almost had to have been through Hornburg--they are still in business and most likrly would have a "Star" file. Let us know.
