You are correct Art, the V12 emblem is not on my 1990 XJ-S manifold; and it is bone stock.

91 and on I believe
the reason I sorta know this is I have a 91 in my engiine collection with the badging..........the engine has one damaged piston .. someone probably put in cheap gas and has blown 1/3 of the top ring land away......... good apart from that.... Hi Dwight.....see you @ Dave's on the green.
