Hi all, I am on my third XJS convertible , I get rid of them and then I am lured back. This one is giving me problems , it seems to drag on the ground. I cannot go over a speed bump without a scrape , the same with depressions in the road. I have never had this problem before with another car. Its such a nuisance that it prevents me driving and enjoying what is otherwise a fine car. Any suggestions to get it higher? Or what might be causing this?
Thank you.
Michael

Hi Michael,
is it a 12 or a 6, either way get the car on a hoist and see where it is dragging, probably the front springs have sagged, have the ride height checked on a level surface........front and rear I believe have a specific clearance... small amounts of front adjustments can be made with the spring shims that sit in the lower spring retainer.......
Good luck, Art ..604 465 7244.....Silver007atshaw.ca
