I went throught 3 resevoirs in the last two week, they would split at the seam and did not seem to be the same quality as the original. On the 3rd bottle I did not insert the metal sleeve and filter. Just a FYI I purchase mine through Welch

It would depend on how yellow they are. The resevoirs along with the gas lines are basically changing color from the first day that they are put into use so I doubt that a judge will nail you for slight discoloration of the bottles. In reality if that is all you have to worry about congratulations on having one of the best cars around!

Bob, Do you judge's deduct any points for yellowed, but otherwise perfect, bottles? This, of course, going to the issue of whether to replace good yellowed original bottles on a show car only to get inferior replacements.

Jeffery, maybe it's clean living, no remarks George, but I've never had a problem, besides yellowing, with an original resevoir. Most/all replacements are nowhere near the quality of the originals.
