Thank you for letting me get my problems solved. Now, we have no brake lights, windsheild wipers, licence plate light, and no turn signals. On the brake lights I thought the wires going to the brake sending unit on the master cylinder, one of the wires should be hot. Then when you step on the brakes the unit would let juice go to the brake lights. Am I wrong? Thanks for taking the time to read these posts. Rog

Roger,

Both the screenwiper and the stop lamps get their power through a fuse in the voltage regulator. There should be power to the stop lamp switch when the ignition is on. This information is in the service manual, which you should have if you will be servicing this car. It's available on this website, I believe.

There are 2 places where I find fuses. Both are on the drivers side of the firewall. I didn't have a meter to check them with. I will check that tomorrow. Is that the only place where the fuses are? I would like to send a picture but don't know how. Thanl you for the time you spent answering my questions. Was I right about haveing 12 volts goin to on one side of the brake switch. Rog
