Hello all, my name is Mo Baiz and I just purchased my first Jaguar, a 1959 MK 9. The car seems to be complete except for the indicator lights on the fender and a tail light lens but it is in desperate need of a major restoration. I've never restored a car before but fell in love with this vehicle the moment I seen it. I'm hoping to find anyone that can give me some pointers on what to start on first. Everyone around me thought I was nuts when I showed them the pics but I just fell in love with her and cant wait till she arrives next week. I'm having her shipped from florida where it's been sitting in a barn for the past 28 years. The engine is all there with only 39,000 miles on it. Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks for the advice. I've joined my local Jaguar Club and I've talked to George who recommended a couple of books which I've ordered.
