Well, I feel so stupid, this is the first XKE I've set in and I'm trying to learn all I can before doing a re-paint. First off, what is the shift pattern, is it the typical H pattern, if so where is reverse found?
2nd, where do I find the code for original paint color?
Thanks!

Attached is the shift pattern. You will probably need to give the shifter a firm puch to the left from neutral.

George, I have already been searching the handbooks and will purchase several. However, I need to back the car up now!

Kerry I suggest you purchase a Handbook for your car. JCNA offers them on this site in the shoppe. Think of the ability to purchase a handbook for a 40 year old car with the click of your mouse. That said there are a lot of other things you need to be aware of beside the shift pattern. Best wishes and congrats! They are great cars!
I'm sorry my drawing didn't make the jumb into hyperspace. We'll try again.
