Missing panel that covers fuel tank and spare tire. What type of
material was used and what was the thickness?

Dale; The rear gas tank panels are made from Baltic Birch a very strong plywood from Russia. I used these on my S1 E
.Rather expensive but very durable.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does OTC stand for? I'm not familiar with that abbrev.

Far as I know, OTC means "over the counter" as in medication.
I think he meant OTS as in "open two seater" but is really referring to a DHC "drop head coupe" or convertible.
Confused yet?
