After charging my battery, I started my car, and pushed in the cassette tape into the cassette player before I noticed that the radio was asking for a code. I attempted to imput the correct code many times to no avail. By the way, the tape did not eject. I have come to the conclusion that my pushing the tape into the player has prevented the radio from accepting the code. I know the code is correct. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this problem? Please help.

If you know the code is correct, set the car somewhere you can leave it for an hour undisturbed. Have the battery fully charged, turn the ignition to position 1 [accessory position] and let it set for 1 hour with the radio on. Then try your code one time. If that doesn't work, there is a problem with the code. If you can take the the radio out and get the chassis number, I can help get the correct code.
Thank you so much for the information. It worked!
