Can anyone suggest a non-destructive lubricant to be used to ease the replacement of the Series One door frame window top T-seal?

I did one on an XJ-S, using silicone spray lubricant, and it slid in and has been fine for the last 3 years. I started at aft top corner as an anchor point, and pushed it in outward from there in both directions. you want to use the window glass as your 'wedge'. start with the window half way, and roll it up and down to have the glass push the seal into the groove as you progress in increments of 4-6 inches of sliding down the groove at the front and rear at the same time. when you are finished you roll the window all the way up, and clean the silicone off the glass.
