Hi, I am finally in a position to start looking for one of these, ideally in the PNW, and I'd be interested in suggestions on a price range for a reasonably top-end driver; I've read up here and elsewhere, so I know I should budget for maintenance regardless of condition, but I'm not looking for a project. Any thoughts very welcome.

In the thread above there is a comment about checking into the service history...good idea but sometimes hard to do. If the previous owner has no information or you don't know the previous owner, then all you will be able to find is any warranty repair.

Matt- For the right price, I would be willing to part with my 1990 XJS V-12 silver coupe. I am attaching a picture for your review. If interested, please give me a call at 248-470-4000. -Gary

Hi Matt,

I posted our 1990 XJ-S convertible (Collection Edition) to the JCNA classified quite awhile ago - you will have to sort back to find it. It is not a face-lift style. I challenge you to locate a better example of a 1990 convertible that has been driven and not a garage queen. Our XJ-S is located in Seattle. If someone challenges the 5.3 V-12 (or and V-12) as a questionable purchase I suggest you first look at service history; too often these engines are trashed from the peanut gallery due to owner ignorance - they are great and reliable IF properly maintained with preventative maintenance.

Good luck in your search,
Dwight
