The Largest Known Gathering of Jaguar F-Types in North America Returns to the Tail of the Dragon; 8th Annual Rally Draws Enthusiasts from Across the U.S. and Canada

Deals Gap, TN / NC Border – May 16, 2026 — The mist of the Great Smoky Mountains is about to be pierced by the distinctive growl of hundreds of supercharged engines. A record-setting gathering of Jaguar F-Type owners will take to the roads of the Great Smoky Mountains this year, as enthusiasts from across the country converge for the largest known Jaguar F-Type rally in North America. In its 8th consecutive year, the multi-day event will culminate on Saturday, May 16, with a group drive along the iconic 318-curve stretch of US-129 at the Tennessee – North Carolina border.

Centered around the legendary Tail of the Dragon, a world-renowned driving route featuring 318 curves in 11 miles, the event offers a technical and exhilarating experience for drivers and spectators alike. This year’s rally brings together 57 vehicles and 95 attendees currently registered (with more on the way), showcasing the passion and community surrounding Jaguar’s modern performance icon.

The rally is independently organized and free to attend, uniting a passionate community of Jaguar owners to celebrate the enduring appeal of the Jaguar F-Type in one of the world’s most renowned automotive destinations.

Driven by Community, Fueled by Purpose

In addition to the driving experience, the event will raise funds in support of Dream Cars 4 Kids, with proceeds helping bring joy and inspiration to children through unique automotive experiences.

A Growing Tradition

As Jaguar transitions to an all-electric future and with the final internal combustion F-Type having left the factory in 2024, this year’s rally takes on a profound significance. It is more than a car show; it is a living tribute to one of the most celebrated sports cars of the 21st century.

Under the leadership of event organizer Melanie Rodgers, the 2026 rally features an expanded itinerary and unprecedented support from key industry partners.
