Hello. I have a 1959 XK150 FHC with a 3.8 engine and I don't think it has the original engine. The block number is 7B58399-9, The head number V5375-8. Can any one tell me which year car my engine and cylinder head came out of? Thanks.

Kenny the block is from a 3.8L "S" (the old one not the new) and the head is a 150 3.4 head (possibly correct to your car). Does the ead match the data plate? As to the years of the head and block as said the head may match--the block would be late perhaps 1967 but further work would have to be done to nail it down. Hope that helps.
