There were only a few XK150's made with (original) automatic transmission. Any information on how many? More specifically, how many FHC's? Seen any, or know of anyone who has... anywhere?

Re.: XK150 with automatic transmission
It is as I thought. Not rare at all then maybe now. Fixed head is by far the least rare. Paul Skilletes' book (his researce is better than others) "The Jaguar XKs" Pub. 1981 p.127 list the following break down.
All with automatic.
3.4 ots 71
3.8 ots 1
3.4 FHC 674
3.8 FHC 197
3.4 DHC 440
3.8 DHC 209
Which is a total of 1592 Xk150s with Auto.out of a total production of 7929 XK150s. This does not include the 1466 "S" XK150s. You may want to go spend hours checking Paul's research but you will find it solid.

Re.: XK150 with automatic transmission
Don't know how many 150 FHCoupes were made with automatic, probably pretty rare. I had a restored automatic FHC just offered to me on the West Coast. Something like 25K
A friend of mine has this car with above specs and we were wondering how many withsuch specs were made ?
