Cars been running great since getting it out of winter hibernation (about 175 miles in March). Used it Sat nite for 40 miles with no problems. Easter Sunday out for small spin and it stopped. Felt like starvation. Fuel pump running non stop. Engine won't stay fired. Checked carb filters and all clear. Had filled up day before so plenty of fuel.
Will investigate full fule delivery this weekend but any ideas as to what to look for first. What is causing the fuel pump to not cycle off?
Any suggestions appreciated.

Ralph either your pump has failed or you have a pick up problem (possibly dirt from your fill-up). Try turning on the pump--and crack the line to the engine--if you have fuel there you have a carb float issue--but if no fuel there you may need to clean the in tank filter and yep you just filled it up so you will need to drain the tank--be careful! Good luck.
