Anybody know someone who relines brake shoes? Or know a source for new ones?

Re.: XK120 brake shoe reline
Yea just the lining and rivets-- try buying the shoe cores from someone who knows what they are worth. $90 for a lining on a car that has not been produced for 50 years is reasonable to me. Some of my old Bentley guys pay $500 for the linings only!

Do you mean that Barratt just sells the lining? My price list (2002) lists "brake shoes" for $83.84...seems a little steep for lining material.

Re.: XK120 brake shoe reline
For street use I buy from SNG Barratt and have a local company BOND AND RIVET them. For racing velvet touch is the long fav. but I have had some good success with an elevator brake co. in Utah.

White Post offers to reline your brakes for $20 per shoe...$160 for the car. Guess that's not too bad.
