I am restoring a 1956 xk 140 dhc. I took the body off, put on a rotesery and restored the bottom of the body. I am trying to remount the body to the chassis. If i put the aluminum pads in the same location as before the door jams have a large space at the top and will not close. Has anyone else had this problem and how did you solve it? What is the measurement between the frame and floor board?
