I have a 1995 XJS convertible. I have had a problem recently where the car will not start after it has seems to have armed itself. The key fob does not operate the locks when this happens. It seems that if the car is locked manually that the system does not reset...2 of the 3 times it has happened the unlocking of the car has seemed to reset it and then the car would start. Any ideas?
I have replaced the battery a few months ago. When it does reset, all seems good, then a few weeks later it happened again. No alarms sounded, no lights flashed, just power locks wouldn't work with the key fob and the car would not start. What do I do?
