I have a 1990 XJS and have just completed replacing all brakes including the handbrakes. I also needed to replace the pull lever for the handbrake. Now the handbrake clicks and the dash brake light comes on but the top does not raise. I have not checked the fuse yet (tomorrow). Any other ideas? I also plan to adjust the brake cable.
Help please.
